Tiger Woods

I read an article regarding Tiger's troubles and thought it was well done. The author focuses on the fact that the world's best golfer needs to look deep within himself for the answers he is looking for.

Grace and Peace.

  • Blech. I read the article - yeah the guy needs some help, has a few...uh, problems. Some Matthew 5:30 surgery might take care of that...

Hey Dale - Why does evangelism cost so much money? I don't suppose you have VIP status with these guys and can get our church some free samples to pass out?

  • Interesting comment.
Can the answers really be found within ourselves? Tiger comes from the Eastern mystical tradition (Buddhism)that believes by going deep enough into oneself to find the "silence" of our inner being, we can discover our "god/power/divinity" within, and can find all the answers. Howerver, in Christianity, we recognize that the "power" said to be found there by so many Eastern mystical religious traditions, is not God. That tradition began in the Garden! We can search within ourselves for causes of attitudes and actions,(our sin) but the answers are not within oneself, but in Christ Jesus. I believe it was Brit Hume who expressed it quite well! (And has been edxcoriated by the world for it. Sure hope Tiger hears it and heeds the Holy Spirit)
